Hello, I’m Billiejoe Charlton, a computer scientist living in Brighton, England. I currently work on a collaboration between Do Something Different and the University of Brighton.

Previously I obtained my PhD from Imperial College London and worked as a researcher in the “Foundations of Software Systems” group at University of Sussex. My work there concerned the use of mathematical techniques, such as Hoare logic and abstract interpretation, to model and reason about the execution of computer programs. Following that I worked as an analyst at CountingLab, working on energy demand forecasting and other data mining challenges.

Please do browse my research publications, see the slides from some talks I have given, or read about the software I’ve written.
